Google just celbrated it's birthday (happy birthday).

We often hear comparisons of different ideas or ventures to Google. - With Googles achievements - that is certainly a LONG yardstick to measure by!

The Boston Globe reports about a New Web tool may speed drug discovery The project by The Broad Institute, of MIT cross references drug molecules against disease characteristics.

The reason I find this noteworthy is that for all of the myriad comparissons to Google, this actually bears a resemblance to the search engine giant - because it is actually a search tool.

Somehow though, I don't expect the Connectivity Map to gain the same momentum, or market capitalization as Google.
