
Mr. Savelson is
MedExtra's Vice President of Operations. He has a BA
Communications from Concordia University. Mr. Savelson
has managed operations and marketing for a number of
organizations in technology, import and healthcare. He
was a patient care coordinator at the Jewish General
Hospital in Montreal.
Since 1992 he has been a volunteer emergency healthcare
provider, serving three years as executive officer with
Cote St-Luc Emergency Medical Services. Mr. Savelson is
an active member of the Jewish Chamber of Commerce and
Young Leadership Campaign. He is a co-chair of Montreal's
Inter-Cultural Chambers of Commerce Committee and a
founding member of JEO.
For the past 5 year, Mr. Savelson has been a member of
the Dale Carnegie instuctional team. Married and the
father of two boys, he enjoyed coaching his four year old
son's soccer team this summer. Mr. Savelson is currently
a director of Centre de Petite Enfance Shalom, the
daycare attended by his eldest son.
Recently, Mr. Savelson has been selected to receive a
Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership award in
recognition of his community involvement.
