Jeffrey Brock
JeffDr. Brock serves as MedExtra's President and CEO. A physician with close to two decades of ER and hospital experience, he has first-hand knowledge of the problems and frustrations in accessing healthcare. As a solution he founded MedExtra in 1999.

Dr. Brock has a BSc in Biology and an MD from McGill University. He was an emergency room ACLS physician at various Montreal area hospitals. He is currently on staff at the Jewish General Hospital and centre hopitalier de Val D'Or. He has been a medical-legal and workers' compensation consultant for 15 years. Dr. Brock has served as Director of Synermed International from 1990 to the present.

Property development and investment management with Brock Capital Corporation from 1984 to the present, also part of his work experience, round out his resume.

Evan Savelson
EvanMr. Savelson is MedExtra's Vice President of Operations. He has a BA Communications from Concordia University. Mr. Savelson has managed operations and marketing for a number of organizations in technology, import and healthcare. He was a patient care coordinator at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.

Since 1992 he has been a volunteer emergency healthcare provider, serving three years as executive officer with Cote St-Luc Emergency Medical Services. Mr. Savelson is an active member of the Jewish Chamber of Commerce and Young Leadership Campaign. He is a co-chair of Montreal's Inter-Cultural Chambers of Commerce Committee and a founding member of JEO.

For the past 5 year, Mr. Savelson has been a member of the Dale Carnegie instuctional team. Married and the father of two boys, he enjoyed coaching his four year old son's soccer team this summer. Mr. Savelson is currently a director of Centre de Petite Enfance Shalom, the daycare attended by his eldest son.

Recently, Mr. Savelson has been selected to receive a Multiple Sclerosis Society Leadership award in recognition of his community involvement.
